The beginning of everything
1962
BAR NÚRIA
At only 24 years old and without any training in restaurant business, Nuri took over the kitchen of Bar Núria, in the Poblenou district. Everything she knew about cooking was learned from her mother and grandmother.
The dining room was managed by her husband, Jordi. He was in charge of serving the customers, although Nuri always liked to get out of the kitchen to talk to them.
60 years later, we recover its soul in the Rambla del Poblenou to celebrate the traditional cuisine and pay homage to the beginnings and journey of Familia Nuri, with a proposal that highlights tradition, quality products and time.
Bar Nuri is a cozy restaurant in Poblenou with a warm atmosphere inspired by old taverns. It is an ideal space for small groups of up to 20 people, offering different group menus designed to suit every occasion and need.
